Responsibilities
As a Bedside Cardiac Care Specialist at Penn Medicine, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing high-quality patient care to patients on cardiac monitors
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to physicians or nurse managers
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Bedside Cardiac Care Specialist who possesses the following qualifications:
• Current Pennsylvania RN license
• BSN degree required; MSN degree preferred
• ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Strong clinical skills and experience in cardiac care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical knowledge
Compensation and Benefits
