About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with basic care needs, including nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility, and safety.
  • Transport and transfer patients within the medical complex using appropriate equipment and safety precautions.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to lift and ambulate patients using best practice guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, and locate and deliver equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate information and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (desired).
  • 2 years of previous CNA experience (desired).
Work Environment

This role is exposed to infectious diseases and requires regular walking, standing, and bending. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
