Laborer - Telecommunications Network Construction

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Laborer to join our team at Ledcor Technical Services. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in the construction and maintenance of telecommunications networks across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks such as flagging, shovel/broom work, hand digging, pulling and removing material, and job site clean-up
- Assist in trenching work, concrete work, building fences, and mini-excavator work
- Read underground utility locates and ensure safe digging practices are always being adhered to
- Assist in installing telecommunication fixtures, handling cables, conduits, and other materials
Requirements
- At least one year of related construction/telecommunications experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures
- Electrical experience is an asset
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings
- Must possess and maintain a clean driver's abstract and valid full-driver's license
Work Environment
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
- Able to travel to West Virginia for training for at least 3 weeks, then transfer to future work in Indiana
