Job Summary: As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. This includes disinfecting and sanitizing all areas for patient readiness, as well as performing heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic cleaning functions in assigned areas following established methods.
- Perform heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods such as: dust and wet mop floors, scrub or buff floors with appropriate equipment, vacuum and shampoo carpets for cleaning and bacteria control, cycle clean induction units, light fixtures, and windows.
- Assist in cleaning emergency spills when observed or upon request.
- Observe and report the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
- Assist in setting up rooms for meetings and special functions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2 years' experience preferred.
- Background Checks as required by Federal and State law.
