Job Summary

HelloFresh is seeking a reliable and organized Class A truck driver to join our team as a Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and accurate deliveries to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Lift Trucks and Hand Trucks: Safely convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas in a timely manner.
  • Process Received Goods: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and safety of received goods by following company procedures to inspect both the truck and materials.
  • Report Defective Materials: Notify department supervisors of defective materials or questionable conditions.
  • Enforce Safety Policies: Comply with all safety, GMP, and SQF policies and procedures.
  • Shrink Wrap Pallets: Prepare shipments by shrink wrapping pallets manually or utilizing automation.
  • Drive Delivery Vehicles: Safely operate assigned delivery vehicles, including those with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Stay in touch with dispatch as needed to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain Vehicles: Refuel, change oil, check tire pressure, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Comply with Regulations: Adhere to ICC and DOT regulations.
Requirements
  • Class A Driver's License: Valid Class A driver's license required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of proven and verifiable experience with tractor-trailer driving.
  • Forklift Experience: Required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel; lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
