Responsibilities- Assist physicians with various aspects of patient care, including clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
- Collect patient information, take vitals, and perform screenings as per provider guidelines.
- Send and receive patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA and other state and federal regulations.
- Prepare and manage charts to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Perform clinic procedures, including phlebotomy, EKGs, and level one labs.
- Administer injectable medication and vaccines under the direction of a physician.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic, and treatment room responsibilities.
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent hospital program, or successful completion of a certification examination (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA).
- Competitive salary range of $17.38-$26.69 based on experience.
- Generous sign-on bonus of $1,500.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Tuition reimbursement of up to $6,000 per academic year.
