Property Damage Appraisers Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Appraiser to join our team. As an Auto Appraiser, you will be responsible for verifying and accurately appraising the cost of repairs on automobiles.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and appraise the cost of repairs on automobiles
- Review each assignment by speaking with the owner or representative, researching records, and inspecting any involved property
- Accurately estimate the cost of repairs and provide detailed reports
- Communicate with clients to complete inspections and appraisals within a given timeframe
- Use estimating platforms such as Mitchell, CCC, and Audatex to complete assignments
- 1+ years of experience in field claims, including auto claims
- Electronic estimating experience using Mitchell, CCC, and Audatex
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and adaptability
- Reliable transportation and a valid state driver's license
- Adjuster's license (if applicable to location)
- Appraiser's license (if applicable to location)
- High School diploma or equivalent
100% travel is required within designated working territory. Normal office or field claims environment. Ability to operate a motor vehicle for up to 8 hours daily, repeatedly entering and exiting the vehicle. Must be able to make physical inspections of auto loss sites. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
