Key Responsibilities- Patient Care Coordination: Direct patients to exam/treatment areas, prepare patients for examinations and procedures, and assist with patient flow.
- Clinical Support: Obtain patient records, report vital signs, and provide pertinent patient information to clinicians.
- Medication Administration: Administer medication, perform patient tests, and instruct patients on procedural preparations under clinician supervision.
- Specimen Collection: Collect, label, and transport specimens to designated areas.
- Environmental Maintenance: Maintain and clean exam/treatment areas and medical equipment.
- Logistics and Inventory: Maintain logs, records of medical procedures, and inventory of supplies.
- Telephone Screening: Perform telephone screening and additional duties as assigned.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted LVN license from the state of California.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers (American Heart Association), I.V. and Blood withdraw certified.
- Advanced Life Support: Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Care: Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience working as an LVN/LPN.
UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive hourly rates, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution. The hourly range for this position is $19.47 to $38.08 per hour, based on education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
