Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Validation Engineer to join our team at Qualcomm. As a member of our Graphics Post-silicon team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commercialization of our GPU in next-generation chips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute system-level validation plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our GPU.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, DV, SW, and production test teams, to solve technical challenges and commercialize our most advanced GPU.
  • Design and implement automation scripts for test equipment to enable test/debug features and data parsing and analysis.
  • Work with system-level platforms to evaluate silicon characteristics and measure power and performance numbers.
  • Investigate reliability issues and develop scripts for data parsing and analysis.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Silicon Validation and SW Quality Test environments.
  • Excellent Python scripting skills and knowledge of ARM CPU architecture and AHB/AXI bus protocols.
  • Knowledge of GPU architecture, VLSI Design, and Test Methodologies.
  • Experience with lab equipment, such as Logic analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
  • Familiarity with ARM Coresight IP, DFT/DFD, and RMA process.
  • Good written and oral communications skills, multitasking skills, and understanding of deadline requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
