Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Pet Supplies Plus. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch grooming services to our furry friends, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

• Deliver exceptional grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning, to meet the needs of our pets and their owners.
• Style and groom pets according to owner instructions and requests, adhering to breed standards and our grooming procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for our pets, ensuring their wellness and safety at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting pet owners, learning about their pets, and determining their needs to drive neighbor satisfaction.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet owners, sharing product knowledge, and suggesting products and services to ensure happy and healthy pets.
• Participate in community outreach to attract new neighbors to our store.
• Suggest customized services to enhance the basic self-wash or groom experience.
• Perform routine cleaning and assist the pet center team with tasks and neighbor engagement during downtime.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in pet grooming, with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ask probing questions to ensure clarity around pet needs and owner preferences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pet owners and their pets.
• Passion for pets and an understanding of their importance to their owners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
