Position Overview

RAYUS Radiology is currently seeking a dedicated CT and C-arm Technologist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to capture detailed images of patients' bodies for diagnostic evaluation. Your commitment to patient care will be essential as you navigate patients through their imaging experience, addressing their inquiries and concerns with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

(90%) Patient Imaging Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient screenings prior to examinations, ensuring the correct identification and procedure are confirmed.
  • Provide clear explanations to patients regarding the imaging procedures, positioning them appropriately for optimal results.
  • Execute both routine and advanced imaging techniques on specified body areas, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, while ensuring minimal need for repeat scans.
  • Adjust imaging parameters as necessary, employing dose reduction strategies to enhance patient safety.
  • Foster positive interactions with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues to maintain a collaborative work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to safeguard yourself, patients, and fellow staff members.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, promoting safety for patients and coworkers alike.
  • Uphold ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean and functional after each use.
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

(5%) Departmental Support

  • Assist in keeping the imaging protocol manual current and facilitate software updates.
  • Monitor and manage medical supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
  • Support the training of new staff members by sharing knowledge and technical expertise.

(5%) Additional Responsibilities

Complete other assigned tasks as required to support the department's operations.
