The staff occupational therapist at Bothwell Regional Health Center is an integral part of our rehabilitation team. Key responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing timely documentation. Additionally, the occupational therapist will be responsible for supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), participating in team meetings, and maintaining current licensure and continuing education requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans with measurable and functional goals.
  • Implement treatment plans or supervise COTAs regarding the implementation of treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities and provide training to others.
  • Assist with student clinical rotations.
  • Provide weekend and holiday rotational coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Missouri licensure and BLS certification.
  • Prefer 1 year of experience for assignment to Home Health.
