About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Assembler to join our team in Byram Township, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and assembly, with a focus on producing high-quality components.

As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components according to drawings and operation sheets, weighing and loading materials, and using various hand tools to produce or modify parts.

This is a 10-hour day shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work well in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble components according to drawings and operation sheets
  • Weigh and load materials
  • Use various hand tools to produce or modify parts
  • Maintain count and order progress and log in time/quantities
  • Closes and assembles units (use of crimping and closure tools and epoxy applications)
  • Soldering tasks, i.e., small wire soldering, terminal soldering, bridge wire welding
  • Assist with packaging of pyrotechnic assemblies where required
  • Follow company safety practices and quality procedures
