Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part Time Cook to join our culinary team at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hampton. As a Part Time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to standardized recipes, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals in accordance with brand standards and guidelines.
  • Comply with certification requirements, including Food Handlers Safety Training.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas in accordance with State Board of Health regulations.
  • Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening of the restaurant.
  • Assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Certification.
  • Must work well in high demand situations.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to read.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in restaurant kitchen setting preferred.
