Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer II to join our team at Della Infotech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe and UNIX development, with expertise in ADABAS/Natural.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and design, develop, and maintain applications on Mainframe and UNIX environments.
Translate solutions into detailed program specifications.
Gather data to identify customer change requests and define software/system requirements.
Review and write functional documentation.
Identify subsystems and interfaces, and perform impact analysis.
Develop and document computer programs.
Write code, revise, and adapt existing code.
Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Maintain and support applications.
Adhere to and provide input to programming standards and techniques.
Design detailed flowcharts and verify program logic.
Provide input for test requirements and test plans.
Perform system tests and debug programs.
Write technical documentation.
Perform code peer reviews.
Liaise with project managers on project progress and issues.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to assigned resources.
Prepare reports and charts on project status and progress.

Requirements:

10 years of ADABAS/Natural combined experience on Mainframe and/or UNIX.
TSO, JCL, FTP knowledge and expertise.
Strong batch processing skills in Mainframe/UNIX environments.
Preferred: Music or royalty/copyright experience.
UNIX knowledge and expertise.
Minimum 4-year business or technical degree.

Working Conditions:

Must be on PST time.
8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
English language skills: speak, read, write.
