Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sander to join our team at Allen Industries Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, sanding, and cleaning signs to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prep sign cabinet using an electric sander or scuffer
  • Apply bond if necessary to cabinets and sand appropriately
  • File small plate letters
  • Clean signs with thinner
  • Operate a variety of hand tools
  • Move sign, sign faces or cabinets from prep area to booths using a wheeled truck, forklift or team carry
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to move or carry (with assistance) large or heavy material
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, detailed, and deadline-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and follow directions per production orders
