Job Summary

Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team. As a Millwright Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including conveyor systems, shaffing, and tram rails.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery, including cranes, hoists, and dollies, to move and position equipment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and vendor installation manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, using logical step-by-step procedures and shop mathematics to solve problems.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to complete projects and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months documented field experience in a chosen craft discipline.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation, knowledge of optical and laser alignments, and experience with heavy machinery operation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
