Cardiovascular Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cath Lab environment and possess advanced certifications in radiologic technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment while collaborating with a team of cardiologists. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
• Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care.
• Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
• Utilize downtime efficiently, completing tasks delegated by Charge person or manager.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership, facilitating excellent patient care.

• Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
• Prior procedural area experience preferred.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.

Norman Regional Health System offers a competitive salary ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
