We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Ardent Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Responsibilities- Perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing and coding information for insurance purposes.
- Conduct patient interviews, take and record vital signs, and prepare patients for examination.
- Administer medications as directed by the physician and perform other clinical duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
- NCT certification is required.
- 6 months' medical clinic experience is preferred.
- Cross-training as a Patient Service Representative is preferred.
