Job Summary

The Fabrication Specialist is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and Operation
    • Completes work area setup and ensures all necessary tools and equipment are available.
    • Operates hand tools and machinery as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Quality Control
    • Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
    • Checks materials and finished products to ensure they meet standards.
  • Housekeeping and Safety
    • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
    • Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintains production records as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No minimum experience required, but 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
