Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct specialized assessments of children in substitute care and their former guardians.
  2. Develop DSM-5 diagnostic impressions and estimate violence potential.
  3. Evaluate parenting capacity and complete reports used to inform treatment planning.
  4. Conduct assessments of youth to inform treatment recommendations.
  5. Determine substance abuse disorders and required interventions.
  6. Provide leadership in IDCFS clinical meetings.
  7. Share clinical documentation with relevant entities.
