Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma environment. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments
  • Assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or complications
  • Providing post-operative care and support to patients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Illinois RN license
  • 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma environment (Level 1 experience highly preferred)
  • Ability to scrub and circulate in the operating room
  • EPIC system experience
  • BLS certification
