Pharmacy Technician

Kansas State University is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Veterinary Health Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our dispensary, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our clients.

• Aiding with daily dispensary operations, including receiving and processing medication orders
• Preparing and dispensing medications to clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintaining accurate records and inventory of medications
• Collaborating with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification within 12 months of appointment
• Minimum one year of experience in a human or veterinary pharmacy environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
