Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Charles County Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective solutions to learning and behavior problems.
  • Provide training and support to staff on child development, learning styles, and behavioral interventions.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests to inform diagnosis and placement.
  • Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans to support students with behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
Requirements
  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid School Psychology Certification in Maryland.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
