About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly skilled Production Technician to join our team at our Reinbeck, Iowa location. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for participating in harvest activities, performing general plant, field, and warehouse operations, and accurately monitoring automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in harvest activities such as preparation, drying, shelling, and product unloading
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant, field, and warehouse operations
  • Accurately monitor highly automated equipment for processes such as harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing
  • Product return and sorting activities
  • Actively participate in conditioning activities such as sizing, gravity operation, packaging, and palletizing
  • Field activities such as scouting, inspection, and managing logistics
  • Use of automation and computerized systems to perform work tasks
  • Perform warehouse activities such as forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, and other duties associated
Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain GED within 12 months of hire

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand, and sit for extended periods
  • Comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude
  • High diligence, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Integrity and ability to promote a positive working environment
  • Uphold health and safety to the highest standard
