Job Description

The Millwork Assembler I role is responsible for assembling millwork components under the direction of line leaders. Key responsibilities include stocklng lumber, plates and other work-related materials, banding/stacking finished products, and loading them onto carts/pallets inside and outside the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Laying out millwork component supplies and materials on carts or floor
  • Stocking plates for component setup
  • Assembling components according to specifications
  • Loading and banding finished materials on carts/pallets
  • Receiving incoming products, commodities, and materials
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Assisting in the setup of component assembly processes
  • Monitoring production workflow and assisting other areas as needed
  • Operating equipment necessary for assembly tasks
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent work experience required
  • Prior carpentry experience preferred
  • Able to read tape measures and use hammers
  • Ability to learn operating equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns
  • Available for overtime as needed
