Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Your expertise will also be essential in providing patient care and applying principles of MR safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic images
  • Provide exceptional patient care, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the procedure
  • Apply principles of MR safety, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, enhancing your skills and expertise
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
  • 1+ years of relevant experience or graduate of a Bachelor degree program
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI) certification
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification
