**Job Summary**
As a Health and Preventive Medicine Officer, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and well-being of our community. Your expertise in public health, preventive medicine, and medical entomology will be essential in reducing the incidence of communicable diseases, occupational and environmental illnesses, and food-borne diseases.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Monitor health conditions and potential threats to our community
* Promote public health through epidemiological surveillance and food safety practices
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement health programs
* Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and patterns in health data
**Requirements**
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or Master of Public Health degree (MPH/MSPH) from accredited institutions
* Knowledge of basic epidemiology, microbiology, food technology and hygiene, communicable diseases, occupational and environmental health, and medical entomology
* Completion of officer training school
* Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
