About the Role:

As a Production Coordinator at PrideStaff - Houston (Southeast), you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quality assurance goals and delivery schedules. You will be responsible for coordinating production activities, expediting products through the manufacturing organization, and ensuring on-time shipments and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Production Activities: Assist in planning, organizing, and expediting products through the manufacturing organization to ensure on-time shipments and compliance with specifications.
  • Verify Mill Test Reports: Accurately verify Mill Test Reports (MTRs) for each product pulled to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Support Design and Routing Operations: Collaborate with designers to produce drawings used in manufacturing parts and create routing operations to ensure components meet drawing requirements.
  • Closeout Job Routers and Sort Documentation: Efficiently close out job routers, sort documentation, and deliver to the correct departments.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management to support the success of the production department.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.
  • Goal-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines while working independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to Learn Quickly: Show an ability to learn quickly and retain information related to production processes, quality control, and customer expectations.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Cooperate and work well in a team atmosphere, with a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the production department.
  • Microsoft Office Experience: Have experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual Helpful: While not required, having bilingual skills can be advantageous in communicating with customers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
