Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and meeting patients' goals and needs
  • Offering cost-effective treatments to improve clients' motion and mobility
  • Reducing the need for medications and providing alternatives to surgery
  • Developing care plans using various treatment techniques
  • Creating fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
  • Motivating patients during treatment to help them function optimally
  • Promoting clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
  • Consulting and practicing with other health professionals
  • Evaluating effects and monitoring and communicating progress
  • Documenting patient care services

Requirements include:

  • Active license in the state of TX required
  • PT Liability insurance in the state of TX required
  • Graduate degree or greater in Physical Therapy
  • Home Health or Rehab experience preferred
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices
  • Friendly and professional demeanor required when explaining procedures and treatments
