About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Connections Health Solutions. As a crisis interventionist, you will play a critical role in providing compassionate and expert care to individuals in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess individuals across both adult and youth populations, documenting pertinent information, including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and Substance Abuse issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, addressing the unique needs of both adult and youth individuals.
  • Provide education and support to individuals, families, and others involved in the individual's care, focusing on health literacy and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions in care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in crisis intervention and behavioral health.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
  • Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege.
  • Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
  • Working on ASAM 3.7, the RN shall have competencies and experience in conducting an alcohol or other drug-focused nursing assessment.
  • Must pass the following background checks: Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with addiction and addiction management.
