Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in the 2024/2025 school year.

Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for identifying students needing specialized speech or language services and providing tailored solutions for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
  • Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
  • Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
  • Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
  • Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a similar program.
  • National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services.
  • Certs: (AHA) BLS required.
  • Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check & Drug Screen).
  • Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
  • Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role.
Compensation:
  • $53 to $55/hr.
  • Starting at $1,272.00-$1,320.00 per week (Based on 24 hours).
  • $45,792 to 47,520 for the school year (36 weeks).

Room to negotiate pay based on experience.
