Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training courses for new and existing technicians, focusing on Class 5-8 equipment training, diagnostics, and safety procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to meet specific needs, including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Partner with service managers to identify employee training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Maintain in-house training facilities and equipment, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet industry standards.
  • Attend continuing education courses to stay current on new products and repair techniques.
  • Collaborate with other trainers to develop and implement training programs.
  • Provide feedback to program participants and management, ensuring training effectiveness and quality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Expert certification on Freightliner, M2, Detroit required; ASE Master Certification also required.
  • At least one year of related industry experience; five years of dealership experience preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a trainer with presentation of curriculum in a classroom setting preferred.
