Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Oklahoma.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a travel RRT, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
