The ideal candidate will possess a pragmatic approach to project management, with exceptional skills in assessing gaps in organization or communication and tailoring their approach to the complexity of the initiative.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm, strong communication skills, engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on building relationships through meaningful in-person dialogue.
This role will work within RSUI Group's hybrid work schedule, requiring a balance of in-office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional team coordination - Development, QA, Support, Training, etc.
- Develop milestone-driven project plans, set goals, and implement strategies to meet those goals.
- Monitor project progress, facilitate communication with stakeholders and management, and manage changes to project scope and schedule.
- Own the development and maintenance of knowledge documentation to drive standardization of project management processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline deployments and project deliveries, share best practices with peers and leaders, and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Understand the interdependent architectures, systems, and services among multiple functional teams across the IT organization.
- Proactively seek ways to identify and mitigate project risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing IT projects.
- Experience communicating program status, risks, issues, and tailoring communications to the audience.
- Able to quickly identify bottlenecks or critical issues impeding progress.
- Well-organized, high-energy, and outcome-focused.
- Cultivate and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with peers and leaders, and influence direction by demonstrating value.
- Proficient in using multiple tools to organize work and communicate progress.
