Position OverviewRole Summary: The Phlebotomist is responsible for executing venipunctures and skin punctures with precision and efficiency. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of testing protocols and the ability to support the Clinical Laboratory as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct blood collection procedures, including bleeding time tests and blood cultures.
2. Obtain blood samples for various laboratory analyses.
3. Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety during procedures.
4. Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth operations.
5. Perform additional tasks as required to support laboratory functions.
This position operates on a PRN basis with varying shifts to meet the needs of the department.
