Job Title: Carpenter/Coaster Crew
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Coaster Crew member to join our team at Six Flags Magic Mountain. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wooden rollercoaster structure and track.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist in maintaining and repairing the wooden rollercoaster structure and track, including walking, climbing, and inspecting the track while using protective equipment.
* Perform daily repairs and small tasks, such as nailing, bolting, tightening, and loading, using power tools provided by Six Flags.
* Work with a team to ensure the rollercoaster is in good working condition, including reading tape measures, using levels, and running dry lines.
* Must be able to work various weekdays and weekends, including overtime as needed.
**Requirements:**
* Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid CA Driver's License.
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
* Must not be afraid of heights and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical Requirements:
* Frequently standing, talking, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crawling, reaching, and using repetitive motions.
* Must be able to use finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation and acuity, seeing near and far, depth perception, and color vision.
* Frequent use of protective equipment for eyes, hearing, head covering, arms, hand and fingers, legs, feet and toes, and body protection.
* Occasionally working in extreme cold, heat/sun, temperature change, wetness and humidity.
* Working in confined spaces, intense vibrations, fumes, dust, mists, gases, and caustic chemicals.
* All lifts over 51 lbs. require assistance from a co-worker or the use of a mechanical device.
