Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company, seeks a skilled Assembler. This role involves working with moderate supervision, following formal written procedures and detailed verbal instructions. Key responsibilities include performing tasks required to produce various components and assemble these parts to a point where they are ready for next operational level.

  • Perform surface preparation, apply protective coating, insulate casings, casting and operate pressure chambers (90%).
  • Manage documentation related to production and handle environmental responsibilities, including collection, containment, and labeling of waste byproducts produced during manufacturing activities (10%).

Candidates must be willing and available to work other shifts and overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules. Maintaining satellite accumulation areas in a safe and orderly manner and in compliance with environmental regulations is also crucial.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

This position requires regular and predictable attendance, as well as a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety. A respirator qualification is necessary.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience. An Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate-Silver Level is preferred, and previous mechanical experience is desired.
