Overview:
Our esteemed federal client is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Cybersecurity Systems Officer (CSO). This position involves a hybrid work model, requiring presence onsite for three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
The Cybersecurity Systems Officer will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the security posture of information systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Implementing and maintaining security configurations, practices, and procedures for various systems.
  • Managing security controls in accordance with NIST 80053, FedRAMP, ICD 503, RMF, and DoD Information Levels.
  • Utilizing tools such as eMASS or Xacta IA Manager for effective security management.
  • Ensuring compliance with DoD 8140 standards.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in roles such as Information System Security Analyst or Information System Security Officer.
  • At least 1 year of experience working within cloud environments.
  • A proven track record in the implementation and oversight of security measures.
