Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Endoscopy registered nurse to provide exceptional direct patient care in our surgical environment.

You will create a care plan for patients with complex medical issues in collaboration with the patient and their family, through careful observation of the patient's physical condition and behavior, and interpretation of information obtained from the patient and others, ensuring that both direct and indirect nursing care promotes the patient's safety, comfort, hygiene, and recovery.
You will perform essential nursing actions, explain health treatments to patients and their families, and educate them on how to manage their health needs.
You will delegate tasks to healthcare team members based on their legal scope of practice and capabilities, follow up with team members, and provide effective clinical guidance for patient care.
You will also take on the responsibilities of charge nurse as assigned.You will assess the effectiveness of the care plan through observation of the patient's physical condition and behavior, signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, and through communication with the patient and healthcare team members, modifying the plan as necessary.
You will act as the patient's advocate when required, initiating procedures to enhance healthcare or to alter decisions or actions that may not align with the patient's interests or wishes, and providing the patient and family with opportunities to make informed decisions about healthcare prior to its delivery.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current California Nursing License.
- ACLS certification required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- A Registered Nurse with at least one (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in acute care.
