About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join the State of California as Deputy Executive Officer, Mobile Sources and Incentives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of policies and programs related to mobile sources and incentives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement policies and programs related to mobile sources and incentives.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of new and emerging air pollution control programs and policies.
  3. Collaborate with local air pollution control districts, other state and international partners in the development and implementation of clean transportation strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Experience in directing policy and programmatic direction for mobile source programs.
  • Leadership experience in managing large teams responsible for carrying out complex, technical regulatory programs.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental policies and regulations, particularly those related to air quality.
