Nemours is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting providers with patient care, including casting procedures and application/approval of soft goods. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance to providers to expedite the patient care process
  • Responsible for all casting and Orthopaedic equipment
  • Application and removal of all types of casts, splints and soft goods
  • Instructing patients and parents/legal guardians in the use and care of casts and Orthopaedic equipment
  • Inventory management of casting materials, splints and soft goods

Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma
  • Certification by The National Board of Certification for Orthopaedic Technologists preferred
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience required
