Blackbird Health is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated clinicians. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children, adolescents, and young adults with social developmental and school-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of patients under the direction of the VP, Clinical Services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing patient education and consultation as needed.
- Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests, including digital and lab results.
- Collaborate with administrative teams to handle refills, prior authorizations, records, and rescheduling.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Active PMHNP/CRNP/APN license in the state of employment.
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of 1 year experience working independently as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults under any nursing license.
- Board Certification by ANCC or AANP.
- PMHNP-BC certification.
- DEA license to prescribe.
- State Prescriptive Authority License.
