Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing specialized radiology services in a travel capacity.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARRT, NDMIRT
Job Specifications
  • Specialty Code: 7045 (IR Tech)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Patient Types: Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases including Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolizations, and various fluoroscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Duties: Panning and scrubbing during procedures.
  • Essential Skills: Experience in scrubbing is required.
  • Equipment Utilization: Familiarity with EPIC and Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm.
Work Schedule
  • Weekly Hours: Minimum of 36 hours, with shifts typically scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • On-Call Requirements: Call every third weekend and 1-2 weekdays, with a response time of 30 minutes.
Unit Details
  • Facilities: 2 labs available for procedures.
  • Average Daily Cases: 5-10 cases.
  • Support Staff: Intensivist MD available 24/7, with IR on-call after hours.
Additional Information
  • Orientation: One week of unit-specific training, including classroom and lab sessions.
  • Dress Code: Provided scrubs, with personal lock required for lockers.
  • Radius Rule: Candidates must not be affiliated with any facilities associated with CommonSpirit.
  • Time Off Policy: Requests for time off must be submitted upfront, with limitations on additional requests.
