Job Overview

Position: The primary role of a Member Service Representative is to support members in achieving their financial objectives while providing exceptional service. This position involves executing standard account transactions, promoting various products and services to meet the financial needs of members, and addressing inquiries and concerns related to member accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Processing: Handle and process financial transactions for members efficiently.
  • Product Promotion: Actively promote a range of deposit, loan, and convenience services tailored to individual member needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Utilize analytical skills to investigate and resolve member account inquiries and issues.
  • Routine Tasks: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks as required.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
Performance Indicators:
  1. Provide a warm welcome to members and guests, offering routine information about services and directing them to the appropriate department for specialized assistance.
  2. Complete various member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and more, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Identify and fulfill the expressed and unexpressed financial needs of members through effective communication.
  4. Maintain cash drawer limits, verify and balance cash, and assist with cash management tasks.
  5. Address member inquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  6. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including security and confidentiality guidelines.
  7. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to meet the standards set by the organization.
Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of one to three years in customer service, cash handling, sales, banking, or financial services is preferred.

Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with members, along with basic computer proficiency and mathematical abilities.
