Job Description

Summary/Objective:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of injection molding machinery, auxiliary systems, and overall facility upkeep. The focus will be on executing maintenance tasks while prioritizing safety, product excellence, and production efficiency to meet established objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To excel in this position, an individual must competently fulfill each key responsibility. The qualifications outlined below reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required.   1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain all facility equipment, addressing issues related to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
  2. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on an annual, monthly, and daily basis.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance on robotic systems as necessary.
  4. Uphold cleanliness and organization while working on machinery and within the maintenance area.
  5. Execute additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

Educational background and experience required for this position include:

  1. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic maintenance.
  2. Familiarity with injection molding machines and robotic systems; repair and maintenance experience is highly desirable.
  3. Experience in servicing and maintaining auxiliary equipment such as resin dryers, chillers, grinders, robots, sonic welders, and air compressors.
  4. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing all facility equipment.
  5. A high school diploma is required, along with the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
  6. Capability to interpret mechanical blueprints, including electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  7. Ability to identify and specify materials necessary for repairs.
