Role Overview
The Electrical Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the project manager to ensure projects are completed on schedule. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Developing and managing project schedules and budgets.
  • Conducting progress reviews and managing billings.
  • Preparing bids, change orders, and submittal lists.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating comprehensive project management documentation, including schedules, material requisitions, and cost management reports.
  • Coordinating communication among stakeholders, including owners, vendors, and subcontractors, to facilitate timely project completion.
  • Assisting with labor forecasting and project billing processes.
  • Conducting workplace inspections to assess compliance with specifications, safety standards, and project progress.
  • Developing operations and maintenance manuals as required.
  • Upholding a professional demeanor and adhering to all company policies and best practices.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A positive and self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • 0+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent technical training.

Physical Requirements
This role may require:

  • Occasional travel and time spent on construction sites.
  • The ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent activities such as sitting, typing, and viewing computer screens.
  • Occasional activities including standing, walking, and climbing.
