Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist at Catholic Health Initiatives, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Under the direction of a physician, you will perform procedures using diagnostic imaging equipment, producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment, adhering to radiation safety standards and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and provide clear explanations of procedures, including duration, process, and post-procedure expectations.
  • Select and operate appropriate equipment, setting technical factors and protocols to ensure high-quality images.
  • Obtain complete patient histories and record data for image interpretation and future encounters.
  • Evaluate image quality and report equipment issues to supervisors or directors.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, perform quality tests, and report any shortages or malfunctions.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects, adhere to ACR accreditation requirements, and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and certifications.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • License to practice radiology in Nebraska.
  • ARRT CT certification within 2 years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform venipunctures as required.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and customer service skills.

Pay Range:
$34.78/hour
