Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with our attending physicians and other healthcare providers to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations
  • Collect clinical data, including vital signs and medical laboratory test results
  • Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Administer medications and perform minor surgery
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
  • ATLS, BCLS, and HIPAA compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional pushing, pulling, and climbing. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
