Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Operating Room Associate Director. This role will provide managerial and clinical support to patients and staff, utilizing depth and breadth of clinical management knowledge to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and facilitate patient-centered nursing care for designated patient populations, serving as a real-time clinical expert for unit staff and physicians.
- Lead change by developing, implementing, and evaluating quality and process improvement initiatives of the department.
- Facilitate communication of system, regional, facility, and department initiatives.
- Manage and develop the operational and capital budgets and use of associated resources.
- Assure the development of staff leadership through the design of effective shared leadership models and supports career advancement opportunities.
- Responsible for selection, orientation, on-boarding, and retention of staff.
- BSN or MSN required for all new hires. BSN required for internal transfers/promotions within 6 months of transfer/promotion.
- Current RN license in state of practice. BLS certification required.
- Two years of clinical management experience relevant to patient population, with a strong knowledge and understanding of clinical care management.
